The Westin Reston Heights Hotel, Reston

My stay at the Westin Reston Heights was overall pleasant. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, although lacking a refrigerator. The service, particularly regarding food and beverage charges, was a bit inexperienced. The location was convenient for my stopover from Europe to the West Coast, with plenty of shopping and dining nearby. The dining experience could have been improved with better breakfast options, and the facilities were satisfactory.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I originally stayed in for a large business conference had a connecting door which caused some noise issues, but the staff swiftly moved me to a spacious and gorgeous room with a view of Reston Town Center. The new room was extremely comfortable, featuring a super cozy king bed and great accessories.

On the positive side, the hotel was clean and modern with easy parking, a good workout room, and a nice pool and jacuzzi. However, the service was underwhelming as the staff seemed occupied with other matters, though they made some effort to smooth things over. The location was great for a stopover en route to the West Coast, offering nearby food options and easy access to DC. The dining experience was below expectations with limited breakfast options. Despite some shortcomings, the facilities were decent, providing a comfortable stay overall.
